Overview
This policy explains what Rep Pact collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you. Rep Pact is a shared fitness-accountability service.
Information we collect
- Account information: your email address and display name.
- Pact activity: pact memberships, invitation codes, exercise goals, proposals, rep entries, dates, and progress history.
- Support information: the name, email address, topic, and message you submit through the contact form.
- Technical information: service providers may process basic device, browser, network, security, and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the service.
How information is used
We use information to authenticate users, operate shared pacts, display progress, deliver transactional emails, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve Rep Pact.
Sharing
Your pact information is shared with the partner in that pact as necessary to provide the service. We also use service providers for hosting, authentication, databases, and transactional email. They process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Local storage and cookies
Rep Pact uses browser storage and authentication technologies to keep you signed in, remember the selected exercise and pact, and carry a pending invitation through sign-in. Service providers may also use essential cookies or similar technologies for security and delivery.
Advertising
Rep Pact may display advertising in the future. If advertising services are enabled, this policy will be updated to identify the providers and explain any cookies, personalized advertising, and opt-out choices before those technologies are activated.
Retention and security
We retain account and pact information while it is needed to provide the service and support information only as long as reasonably necessary to address the request, maintain records, or protect the service. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Rep Pact is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. Children under 13 should not create or manage their own accounts. A parent or legal guardian may use an adult-controlled account for family fitness activity. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted personal information directly, use the contact form so it can be reviewed and deleted as appropriate.
Your choices
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your account or support information through the contact form. Some records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations.
Changes
We may update this policy as Rep Pact changes. The effective date above will be revised when material updates are published.
